I am most interested in having the voters of Longboat Key know who and what they are voting for. I do not believe that having Vote for a Candidate signs all over the island does anything to educate the voters. I hope my opponent will feel the same and join me in not putting up lots of signs with our names on them. I feel that campaign signs detract from the beauty of our wonderful island.

I still will need some campaign funding for activities such as community mailings, hopefully prepared by both the candidates running for the at large seat, describing our views on the future of our community.

I believe there are clear distinctions between my views and those of Randall Clair, and that these differences many be important to the future course of government on Longboat Key.
