1) I have been actively involved in the politics and government on Longboat Key for over twenty years.

2) I have many years experience working with governmental agencies so I am familiar with how government is supposed to work.

3) I have the technical and research background to greatly enhance the ability of the commission to work with the town manager on complex issues. During the past twenty years I have contributed extensive technical information to the commission and the town about numerous projects.

4) I am willing to do the work that it takes to thoroughly research issues and projects to make sure that the commission has a complete understanding of any problems that may be imminent.
