I grew up in Larchmont New York which is a suburb of New York City.
I attended the Hotchkiss Preparatory School in Connecticut, Brown University in Rhode Island and the University of Washington in Seattle.
I spent much of my work career as CEO of an electronics equipment design and manufacturing company located in Lake Tahoe California. My company specialized in business engineering and process monitoring and control. |
I moved to Longboat Key in nineteen eighty-five and purchased a home in the village on the north end of the island. Soon after moving here I started a computer consulting and design company serving the business community in the Sarasota / Bradenton area.
During my first ten years in the area I worked with many foundations and non-profit organizations. For the past ten years much of my time has been spent working with state and county government agencies both in Florida and New York state.
My work has exposed me to many business and governmental environments. The nature of my work has been to facilitate optimal business practices through the application of technology and sound organization.
I believe that my career history uniquely qualifies me for commissioner. I have the technical experience to fully understand the challenges that confront the commission. I feel that I can be of service to the community because of my technical background.
